As a bilingual therapist (English & Spanish), I am passionate about helping people heal through difficult times, from past trauma, grief, and loss, as well as the different challenges one could be facing. I understand that no single approach works for every single individual, therefore I use an eclectic approach to treat each patient’s needs.

As your therapist, I am here to support you, as well as help you learn and grow throughout the process of healing. I understand the value of having someone listen to you, to be in a safe and non-judgmental space, and to feel validated.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master’s in Social Work from Michigan State University.

In 2018, I transitioned from my career in Accounting to Healthcare Administration. During this time, I worked in Outpatient Registration while pursuing my Medical Billing & Coding Certificate from Purdue University Global. Currently, I hold the position of Vice President for the AAPC Kalamazoo, MI Chapter, demonstrating my active involvement in the field.

I am dedicated to upholding accuracy, professionalism, and ethical standards in all aspects of my work. I have specialized in Mental Health and ABA billing, focusing on providing comprehensive support in these areas. To further enhance my skills, I obtained the Billing Specialist Coding Specialist (BSCS) credential from the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) and achieved the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification through AAPC.

My journey reflects a strong commitment to continuous growth and delivering high-quality healthcare services. I am passionate about my profession and strive to contribute positively to the field of healthcare administration.
